From the small town of Manchester, GA to the world as his platform, Alonzo “Zo” Harris exemplifies making your dreams reality. This highly sought-after Musical Director, Arranger, Pianist and Composer is the music mind behind the sounds that you hear and love.

Harris serves as the Musical Director and cultivator for 4 time Grammy Winner and 23 time Grammy nominated, H.E.R’s live musical experience, continuously composing, arranging and performing for every major stage, tours, festivals, award shows and television networks worldwide, including Grammy Awards, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, iHeart Awards, BET Awards and a stadium World tour with Cold Play.  Harris has worked alongside some of the greats in the industry, such as Ricky Minor, Kim Burse, Sheila E, Onree Gill and Adam Blackstone. 

For years, Alonzo has worked professionally in many capacities with RCA Records, Atlantic Records, Def Jam, GOOD Music, Apple Music, Roland, INC, NARAS, RocNation, TIDAL Music, MBK Entertainment and many more. Harris shares grammy nominations with H.E.R., Gospel legend, Shirley Caesar, and R&B legend, Betty Wright via his studio session performance, composition, arranging, co production and engineering credits. Alonzo served as musical director and pianist for An Evening with Phyllis Hyman and A Soulful Christmas. He was honored as the best musical director/arranger and pianist for the Off Broadway Production & Adelco Award Nominated Show, Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical. 

    His long list of professional accomplishments have driven this young entrepreneur and educator to not only do but also share his wealth of knowledge with thousands of aspiring musicians worldwide. As a graduate of LaGrange College and New England Conservatory with a Bachelor’s of Music in Creative Music Technologies and a Master’s in Music in Contemporary Improvisation, Harris has built his career around the importance of education. He has also worked as a Professor of Music at Berklee College and developed innovative pedagogical methods that bridge live contemporary performance skills with various forms of music technology. Using his extensive industry experiences, musical directing and performing with artists such as H.E.R, Lenny Kravitz, Travis Barker, Teyana Taylor, Daniel Caesar, 21 Savage,YBN Cordae, Tyrese, Dej Loaf, Skip Marley, and K. Michelle, he has dedicated his daily life to mentoring and providing resources that enhance the versatility of musicians.

      In addition to traveling, directing, arranging and performing, he is currently in the process of developing resources and intensive training programs through the newly established show production agency and training firm, Spectrum Music Group, LLC. He is a firm believer that what is from the heart, always reaches the heart. Therefore, it is Alonzo’s mission to share his heart through his music, knowledge and expertise: a language that transcends musical genres, social barriers and educational divides.
